Jüdisches Museum München (Jewish Museum Munich)

The Jüdisches Museum München (Jewish Museum Munich) offers a comprehensive insight into the diversity of Jewish history, art and culture. The changing exhibitions and the permanent exhibition "Stimmen_Orte_Zeiten" (Voices_Places_Times) shed light on Jewish history and the present in Munich through eyewitness accounts, ritual objects, photographs, videos and comic strips. The museum complex is a lively place that visualises the integration of Jewish history into the city's history and deals with topics such as migration, participation and different Jewish identities.

The Synagogue Memmelsdorf can be experienced as a "place of learning" thanks to the successful coordination of the restoration and museum education concepts. The main room in its preserved form, with all its traces of history, serves as an exhibit in itself. It invites visitors to search for traces under the aspects of history, religion and Franconian rural Jewry. A permanent exhibition supplements the information and provides answers to many questions inspired by the historical traces.

Ehemalige Synagoge Obernbreit (Former Synagogue Obernbreit)

As a place of remembrance and encounter, the former Obernbreit Synagogue regularly hosts concerts, exhibitions and lectures that focus on Jewish culture and history, but also aim to contribute to cultural diversity and tolerance in general.
