Synagoge und Jüdisches Museum (Synagogue and Jewish Museum)
Built in 1822, the Ermreuth synagogue, one of the most important village synagogues in Upper Franconia, now serves as a place of encounter and reconciliation. A permanent exhibition on Jewish life in the countryside, using Ermreuth as an example, has been set up in the gallery and staircase. All the paper and textile objects on display come from the Genizah from the synagogue's attic and, along with other objects, text panels and photos, provide information about the cultural and religious life of Ermreuth's Jewish community.
