The bailiwick museum provides information on the local history of Aurach with the former bailiwick of Wahrberg Castle and the Eichstätt Collegiate. You can also see traditional costumes, objects of 19th century rural living as well as farming and handicraft tools. Since many inhabitants of Blumenau in the Eastern Sudetenland settled in Aurach after their expulsion, a separate section was set up in the museum to commemorate the old homeland.
