Webereimuseum (Weaving Museum)
"If you want to live, you have to weave" was once said here - and so everything in and around the Lepoldenhaus revolves around this trade, which is so important for the Lower Bavarian Forest. In the 19th-century farmhouse, the museum exhibits a variety of painted farmhouse furniture and, above all, equipment for flax processing, weaving, dyeing and blue printing. The three houses provide an insight into the life, living and work of the local weavers in the past. Some of the looms are still in use, and flax and old varieties of grain are grown on the museum grounds.
