Jean Paul Stube in der Rollwenzelei (Jean Paul Room in the Rollwenzelei)
Important information:
The Rollwenzelei was an inn (now a private residence) at the time when Jean Paul lived in Bayreuth (1804-1825). The poet stayed here almost daily and the landlady, Anna Dorothea Rollwenzel, provided him with a room to work undisturbed. Since Jean Paul's death, this room with the preserved furnishings and other memorabilia can be visited as a memorial with a newly created museum area as the "smallest museum in Germany".
