The picturesque Toppler-Schlösschen (Toppler-Schlösschen) is somehow reminiscent of an oversized birdhouse: the small moated castle, built in 1388/89 for the then mayor Heinrich Toppler, is part defence tower, part residential building. The fully preserved building is furnished with furniture from the 16th to the 19th century.
