Kronburg Castle, which is now privately owned, was built around 1200 as a Staufer ministerial seat. Its present form as a Renaissance castle dates back to the years 1490-1536. The historic rooms have furnishings from the 16th to the 19th century. The castle is privately owned, but some parts can be visited on guided tours.
