Schauenstein Castle, a 13th century fortress, has had a very chequered history. Today it houses the town's local history museum. In addition to the former working conditions in various trades and agriculture, you can also experience the living conditions in grandma's time, including a hairdressing salon from 1933. A collection of minerals and rocks provides an insight into the wonderful world of glittering crystals.
