The Museum der Stadt Burgau (Museum of the city of Burgau) has been housed in Burgau Castle since 1907 and was originally intended to serve the "honour and glory of the city". Today, on a display area of over 700 m², it presents the town's history from the Middle Ages to the recent past, as well as the living conditions in a small town over the last 200 years.
