Schloss Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst (Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst Castle)
The castle of the Princes of Hohenlohe-Schillingsfürst, visible from afar, is the town's landmark and one of the most important baroque complexes in southern Germany. It was built between 1723 and 1750 by the Darmstadt court architect Louis Rémy de la Fosse. Eight rooms with rich 18th and 19th century furnishings are open to the public and tell of the residence's heyday as well as the family's connections throughout Europe and its important members.
