A visit to Museum Schloss Ratibor (Museum Ratibor Castle) is worthwhile in two respects: the municipal museum presents its collection of regional and city history, including a rich collection of Hafner ceramics from southern Middle Franconia and works by the Roth painter Anton Seitz (1829-1900), a representative of the "Munich School", but before visiting the museum, you should take a tour of the castle's living and state rooms. The industrialist von Stieber family had the hunting lodge (built in 1538) redesigned in the late German Renaissance and early Italian Baroque style at the end of the 19th century - a prime example of the state rooms of historicism.
