Pasinger Fabrik (Pasinger Factory)
The Kultur-Fabrik, located directly at Pasing station, is a centre for a variety of cultural disciplines. Cabaret and cabaret groups, theatre ensembles and musicians of all genres have found their home here. The regularly changing exhibitions also enrich cultural life in the west of Munich. Particularly noteworthy are the performances of "Munich's smallest opera house" with its lovingly quirky productions of the great musical theatre repertoire.
The Pasinger Fabrik was founded in 1991 in the former building of the Ritterwerke household goods factory and has since served as a cultural and civic centre for the state capital of Munich. In addition to the Pasinger Fabrik GmbH, the building is now home to the independent theatre "Viel Lärm um Nichts", the children's and youth cultural workshop, the Paritätische Familienbildungsstätte, Streetwork Pasing and the two parent-child initiatives Fabrikkinder and Rote Rüben e.V.
