As a place for learning and experiencing, the museum's permanent exhibition holds a special rarity: a wooden library that is over 200 years old. This and many other exciting exhibits make it possible to experience the immense importance of the forest for our ancestors and for the future at first hand. The nature adventure trail in the adjacent outdoor area also offers an impressive view of the Ebersberg Forest and the Alpine chain. In the exhibition, the living being tree is illuminated from new perspectives and the current challenges of our time are addressed.
