Bernsteinmuseum (Amber Museum)
Important information:
You won't find the lost Amber Room in Bad Füssing either, but you will find lots of exciting and interesting things about the "fossilised resin". In addition to the world's largest chess set made of amber, sculptures and pieces of jewellery from the Stone Age to objects from the imperial court in Beijing or Tibetan and Muslim prayer chains show the time- and world-spanning significance of this material. Its origin is shown as well as an extensive collection of insect inclusions, but also the latest findings from amber research.
