Triasmuseum an der Ochsenfurt (Triassic Museum at the Ochsenfurt)
The landscape of Lower Franconia was largely formed in the Triassic period, i.e. until about 201.3 million years ago. Fossils and minerals from this period are exhibited in the private Triasmuseum an der Ochsenfurt (Triassic Museum at the Ochsenfurt). In addition, an approximately 6 m high wall relief shows the Triassic strata and their most important fossils. With the "Eibelstädter Lügensteinen" and a documentation of all quarries in the Maindreieck, further aspects on the topic of "fossils" are illuminated.
