Every year around Rauhnacht time, the twelve nights between Christmas Eve and Epiphany, the traditional Perchtenlauf attracts visitors to the market town of Kirchseeon. You can immerse yourself in the mystical world of the Perchten on selected days during the autumn and winter months in the Maskeum. Here, the tradition is presented with all its background information on history, dances, songs and sayings as well as symbolism in an extraordinary setting. Elaborate room installations with modern media stations allow visitors to experience the archaic masks in a special way.
