What are ghost insects and what does a silkworm look like up close? BIOTOPIA - Naturkundemuseum Bayern is offering a foretaste of the new BIOTOPIA concept in the Botanical Garden until the new museum opens. Visitors can expect exciting experiences such as a virtual flight experience over Bavaria with the VR bird flight simulator "Birdly". Changing pop-up exhibitions provide insights into real-life topics such as the invisible power of fungi or the consequences of species extinction, and encourage visitors to work together to shape a future worth living. Access to the BIOTOPIA Lab is via the main entrance of the Munich Botanical Garden. A visit to the Lab is free of charge and included in the entrance fee to the Botanic Garden.
