Travelling through time and taking a look at life in the bygone era of the Roman Empire. At Römerpark Ruffenhofen (Ruffenhofen Roman Park) in Middle Franconia, this dream is almost a reality. Here, the Roman past comes to life and visitors can walk in the footsteps of ancient history. A viewing hill offers an overview of the entire site, while a mini fort on a scale of 1:10 can be found at the foot of the hill. Ancient Roman paths lead through the site and signs, large-scale pictorial scenes and casts of Roman stone monuments provide information about the buildings and Roman life on site.
