Profanierte Marienkapelle (Profaned Lady Chapel)
Important information:
The "Marienkapelle" (Mary's Chapel), built in 1488, served as a hospital and later as a residence from the 16th century. Also for the local poet Rosa Meinhardt, who lived here from 1905 to 1958. Her original living room can still be visited, and an adjoining room is dedicated to her Lauenstein poet friend Isidor Wilhelm and his son Prof. Hermann Wilhelm. On the ground floor there is an exhibition on the history of the chapel.
