Heimatmuseum Bad Aibling (Museum of local history Bad Aibling)
The striking fresco of a view of the market town of Bad Aibling from around 1700 above the entrance is both a signpost and a motto. In the former farm building of the Irlachschlösschen, the local history museum displays its rich collection on local history and the rural culture of the Mangfall valley, including furniture and objects from farms in the region, such as painted chests from the late 16th and early 17th centuries and a cabinet by Anton Perthaler (1766), or the complete workshop of a Schäfflerei. The highlight is the "Marbacher Stube" with its Renaissance furnishings and coffered ceiling. A room is dedicated to the painter Wilhelm Leibl, who spent a large part of his life in the Aibling region, furnished with the equipment of his studio in Kutterling.
