Museum St. Ulrich (Museum Ortisei)
Experience Christian art from over a millennium in one of the most interesting early Gothic churches in Germany: Paintings, sculptures and goldsmith's art in the Museum St. Ulrich (Museum Ortisei) take you from the 11th to the 21st century and offer exciting contrasts between medieval and contemporary confrontations with religious motifs. The building itself, originally built between 1220 and 1230 as a ducal palace chapel, is adorned with frescoes from the 13th to 16th centuries.
