Museum Gunnar-Wester-Haus (Museum Gunnar Wester House)
Fire and light are at the centre of the Museum Gunnar-Wester-Haus. The cultural history collection on the development of fire production and lighting was donated by Friedrich Graf Luxburg (1871-1956) and includes lamps, lights and lanterns from antiquity to the 19th century, as well as objects for fire production, such as early ignition machines from the Baroque and Biedermeier periods. 106 exhibits from the Fritz Glöckle icon collection also offer an insight into Russian sacred art from the 16th to 19th centuries.
