Literaturhaus Wipfeld (House of Literature Wipfeld)
The municipality of Wipfeld boasts a special "density of poets": with Conrad Celtis, Eulogius Schneider, Engelbert Klüpfel and Nikolaus Müller, the town has produced four writers of European standing over the last 550 years. The Literaturhaus presents the lives of these authors in a variety of ways and makes their works not only readable but also audible, including the first re-performance of Conrad Celtis' Singspiele in over 500 years and the song of freedom for the French Revolution written by the monk and revolutionary Eulogius Schneider over 200 years ago - the "Marseillaise" in German!
