Literaturarchiv Sulzbach-Rosenberg (Literature archive Sulzbach-Rosenberg)
"Out with the official mould, in with Pegasus!" - This is how the Literaturarchiv Sulzbach-Rosenberg (Literature archive Sulzbach-Rosenberg) moved into the former district court building. The permanent exhibition in eight rooms provides an insight into German-language post-war and contemporary literature. Selected letters, photos and first editions are used to present authors and their books, literary magazines, author meetings and literary debates that had a particular influence on literary development. One prominent example is Nobel Prize winner Günter Grass with his novel "The Tin Drum", the first version of which can be seen as a typescript in the archive. Many other authors from Group 47, including Heinrich Böll, are represented with photos and letters.
