Industriemuseum Lauf (Industrial Museum Lauf)
In 14 listed buildings, visitors to the Industriemuseum Lauf (Industrial Museum Lauf) are immersed in a bygone world of work. From "early industry" to "high industry", the ensemble brings aspects of regional industrial history to life. Situated directly on the River Pegnitz, the museum can even boast working waterwheel-driven original works: an iron hammer mill, a flour mill and an electricity plant. The 20th century is represented by the former Dietz valve factory. Workshops of typical urban trades and home furnishings complete the picture of the everyday life of urban workers and craftsmen from around 1890 to 1970.
