Tools have been made in the Breitenberg hammer mill (Hammerschmiede Breitenberg) since 1768. Today, the elaborately restored forge with its water wheel, heavy double hammer and largely preserved equipment can be visited, with a forging demonstration by appointment. In the former servants' quarters, there is a small documentation room with information on the history of the house, aspects of blacksmithing and with a selection of workpieces made in the hammer mill.
