The Gaswerksmuseum (Gasworks Museum) is located in the former electrical centre. In the past, the entire electrical energy for the gasworks was distributed from here. In the event of a power failure, the plant could continue to operate autonomously with its own emergency power supply. Several diesel engines and oil engines were used for this purpose. These unique exhibits and numerous other devices and installations have been preserved in their original condition.
