At twelve points around the site, you’ll have the chance to discover fascinating facts about the gasworks grounds. Our gasworks expert Oliver Frühschütz provides the information at each stop. He knows the gasworks like the back of his hand and used to work here when it was still in operation, supplying energy to Augsburg. He is also chairman of the Gaswerksfreunde Augsburg association and the contact person for the Augsburg Gasworks Museum.
