A bronze wild boar shows the way: the German Hunting and Fishing Museum is hidden behind the façade of a former church. On 3000 m² it shows objects, pictures and taxidermy on the subjects of hunting and fishing. The interactive areas "Forest Trail" and "Water Worlds - Fish Stories" are devoted entirely to the local fauna. The permanent exhibition as well as changing special exhibitions place special emphasis on conveying a respectful approach to nature as well as the importance of hunting and fishing in the history of art and culture in Germany.
