A colossal kiln from 1883 forms the centrepiece of the museum, which was set up in a former brickworks. In the exhibition, visitors learn interesting facts about the development of bricks and lime as building materials, their extraction, processing and use. One of the best-preserved Roman kilns north of the Alps - transferred to the site from the place where it was found - rounds off the exhibition. The forge, the brick production plant and the clay pit dating back to around 1960 can also be visited.
