Important information:
In 1982, the city of Donauwörth dedicated a meeting center to the world-famous composer and honorary citizen of Donauwörth, Werner Egk (1901-1983). Egk wrote numerous operas, ballets and concert works, including the "Magic Violin", "Peer Gynt" and "Abraxas". Not only Egk's concert grand piano and memories of his personal environment are on display at the Begegnungsstätte, but also books, scores, certificates, stage design models and production designs as well as his expressionist drawings.
