Deep primeval forests and wild animals in Bavaria? Yes, there are, says the Waldmuseum Zwiesel (Forest Museum Zwiesel) and takes its visitors on a journey through the Bavarian Forest. With the help of a primeval forest diorama with prepared animals and plants, visitors can see for themselves the great biodiversity of the local flora and fauna. The development of the forest by humans, life and work in and with the forest are also thematised here: In addition to timber production, it is above all the glassworks for which the Bavarian Forest is known far beyond its borders. And so the Forest Museum offers an entertaining and comprehensive presentation of natural and cultural history and their respective interactions.
