Few people today know who or what a "Handmarie" is, even though it has saved countless lives. But this wheeled stretcher is only one of many exhibits worth seeing in the Rotkreuz-Museum (Red Cross Museum). The museum shows the 150-year history of the Red Cross by means of uniforms and orders, equipment and medical devices as well as original stretchers and historic ambulances.
