Psychiatrie-Museum im kbo-Isar-Amper-Klinikum München-Ost (Psychiatry Museum at the kbo-Isar-Amper-Klinikum Munich East)
The tour through the more than 100-year history of the hospital impressively shows how psychiatric therapy and treatment, but also the working conditions of doctors and nurses have changed since its foundation in 1905. The museum shows the everyday life of a psychiatric clinic from then until today and also presents the medical histories of famous patients such as Oskar Maria Graf. A reconstructed living room from the founding period and parts of an isolation cell give visitors an impression of hospital life at that time.
