What does a capercaillie sound like, or a raccoon? It's very simple: press a button! The Nature and Hunting Museum exhibits specimens of all animals that can be hunted in Bavaria, with the matching sounds available at the touch of a button. But also fish and amphibians, in short: almost all animal species from the Altmühl valley can be seen in the former carriage hall of the castle. In the second part of the museum, works of art, maps, furniture and décor as well as weapons tell of the count's hunting history in the Pappenheim family.
