There is a lot to discover in the MuseumsQuartier, as it displays a colourful variety of themes on over 1000 m². Fishing and traditional pond management take centre stage, with aquarium landscapes and even "talking fish". Nativity scenes, icons and porcelain are the themes of other exhibitions, as well as the history of the town and the Plan-Weseritz local history parlour. There is also a section dedicated to the town's most famous son, the Bavarian linguist and author of the first "Bavarian Dictionary" Johann Andreas Schmeller (1785-1852).
