On a small island in the Pegnitz lies the grinding mill, which was already mentioned in 1541 and operated until 1988. The water power is transferred here from the mill wheel directly to a large grindstone - without any electricity at all. Today, the mill is only used for museum purposes: Knives and axes that you bring with you can be sharpened during a guided tour.
