Museum Kirche in Franken Bad Windsheim (Museum Church in Franconia Bad Windsheim)
The Church in Franconia Museum is located in the original Spitalkirche zum Heiligen Geist hospital church in the historic centre of Bad Windsheim and is part of the Franconian Open-Air Museum's "Town Building Group". The church was built in the 15th century and remodelled into a Protestant preaching church during the Reformation. It not only serves as a historical building, but also as the main exhibit. Thanks to its connection to the Franconian Open-Air Museum and its location in Bad Windsheim, the Church in Franconia Museum impressively combines the history of the town, Franconian church history and Protestant life in the past and present.
