Museum Karlstadt
Important information:
Karlstadt has experienced many things since it was founded around the year 1200. Starting with the enormous upheaval of the Reformation and other formative changes, selected works of art illustrate the associated social, economic and religious innovations. The section StadtGESCHICHTE (City History) focuses on the settlement area in prehistory and sheds light on the "Carolingians on the Main - expansion of the Franks into the Main region". Four almost unchanged half-timbered rooms allow insights into the building history of the house and revive the living culture of past times.
