Tiefenbach bobbin lace was famous far beyond the region at the beginning of the 20th century and was even presented at world exhibitions. Today, a museum in the former royal bobbin lace school founded in 1907 is a reminder of the former importance of hand bobbin lace making as a sideline in the region.
