It is impossible to imagine today's gastronomy without the sugar shaker with the tube in the metal lid. And it is only one of numerous design classics that were produced at the Bayerische Metallwarenfabrik.From 1902 to 1998, the Bayerische Metallwarenfabrik was one of Nuremberg's most important metalworking companies. Product designs, company catalogues and numerous historical products take visitors on a journey through 100 years of table culture in the museum in the former factory building, where they are sure to meet one or two "acquaintances".
