The small museum guides visitors through 400 years of Roman history in Epfach (Museum Abodiacum). Various models illustrate the appearance of the buildings and the extent of the fortifications in the 2nd and 4th centuries. Replicas and some originals show weapons and everyday items. One area is dedicated to Claudius Paternus Clementianus, the governor of the province of Noricum (Austria) who came from Abodiacum. The life-size replica of a Roman legionary shows the complete equipment from clothing to cooking utensils to weapons.
