Under the motto "From village to high-tech location", the Heimatmuseum Dorfen (Museum of local history Dorfen) shows stages of Gundremmingen's local history, from Roman settlement with the fort on the "Bürgle" to the Peasants' War of 1525 and the founding of the first German nuclear power plant in the 1960s.
