What do carp, market counts and children's games have in common? - A museum in the Old Castle in Neustadt a. d. Aisch has been dedicated to all three topics. What is a half-baked carp and what does blue boiled mean? In the Aischgründer Karpfenmuseum, the history of pond farming, all kinds of curiosities and culinary traditions in the preparation of the popular edible fish are explained. Exciting facts about the life and work of the market counts, what field jurors are all about and how the town got its name can be found in the Market Count Museum. The KinderSpielWelten (Children's Play Worlds) with their historic doll's houses, doll's kitchens and shops allow visitors to immerse themselves in the children's play of times gone by. A large display depot rounds off the broad spectrum of cultural insights in the Old Castle.
