Markgrafenmuseum (Margraviate Museum)
The Markgraviate Museum (Margraviate Museum) is as multifaceted as the history of the royal seat of Ansbach. The ground floor is dedicated to the world's largest collection on Kaspar Hauser, the mysterious foundling of the Biedermeier era who met his death in Ansbach. The upper floors take us back to the time of the Margraves of Brandenburg-Ansbach, who were related to the Hohenzollern dynasty. The "white gold" of local faience production and courtly hunting are highlighted. Finally, a walk-through section of the late medieval city wall leads to the fish dinosaurs, scholars and royal Uhlans of the garrison city of Ansbach.
