"Literature for all the senses" is the museum's motto: readings by important contemporary writers, lively discussions and inspiring symposia characterise the programme and often provide surprising approaches to literature. An important part of the programme are the changing exhibitions dedicated to outstanding personalities in literary history, important contemporary authors and critics as well as special historical and literary themes. Texts, photographs and original exhibits, together with state-of-the-art audiovisual technology and customised exhibition architecture, provide new insights into the world of books and literature.
