Experiential spaces of yesterday, today and tomorrow: telling 2,000 years of the city's history - that is the core concern of the Kempten-Museum im Zumsteinhaus (Kempten Museum in the Zumstein House), an active place where the city's history - from the Romans to the present day - is told in detail in eleven themed rooms. However, the Kempten Museum is not only about history, but also about the city's present. It is to be told by the people of Kempten themselves. They know all about citizen participation - tried and tested in the city expedition, anchored in the museum's mission statement and actively lived in the exhibition.
