Internationale Jugendbibliothek (International Youth Library)
Where the Bavarian dukes once resided, the focus is now on youth: in the late medieval grounds of Blutenburg Palace, the International Youth Library has set up its permanent exhibitions dedicated to three well-known authors and one illustrator of German-language youth literature. In the Michael Ende Museum, the Erich Kästner Room, the James Krüss Tower and the Binette Schroeder Cabinet, first editions, typescripts, drawings, photos and personal objects of the respective eponymous authors are on display and allow an insight into their work and their imaginative world of thought.
