Even old braids can be exciting! You can find out in Herr Zopf's Friseurmuseum (Mr Zopf's Hairdressing Museum). Hairdressing expert Heinz Zopf, whose surname loosely translates to "pigtails", presents his extensive collection on the grounds of the German Hairdressing Academy: the exhibition tells the fascinating story of the origins of today's hairdressing profession - from the bather and barber to the wig maker and modern hair stylist, and has curious, exciting and fascinating things in store. Artfully decorated beard cups, hairy greeting cards, a 108-year-old hairdryer and the only listed hairdressing salon are just some of the highlights in Herr Zopf's Friseurmuseum.
