Heimatmuseum Bad Rodach (Museum of local history Bad Rodach)
In the former hunting lodge of the Dukes of Saxe-Coburg (built 1747-1749 by Johann David Steingruber), the Heimatmuseum Bad Rodach (Museum of local history Bad Rodach) displays exhibits on the town's history with its development into a thermal spa as well as objects on old crafts and toys. The collection "Feinsteingut Max Roesler" is particularly noteworthy: figurative and utility ceramics document the production of the company that was formerly active here. One section is dedicated to the poet and orientalist Friedrich Rückert, who created a literary monument to the town in his "Rodach Summer" (1814).
